Five Boro RUMBLE IN THE PARK 2023 WAS EPIC!

SATURDAY, JULY 1ST, 2023 | SKATEPARK GMUNDEN, AUSTRIA

The comeback was a full success! We are still hypnotised and feel the heat of this unforgettable day!
Thanks to the weather gods we were pretty lucky and the sun came up in the afternoon.
Riders from all over Austria, Denmark and Japan…yes Japan…so far the greatest distance a rider ever made to join the RUMBLE, came together for this epic session in Gmunden!

Speaking about distance… after 3 years of Rumble drought the crowd was thirsty for Skateboarding and the legendary Rumble feeling.

Once again Tirol was the leading Country when it came to bringing in the biggest crew of skaters and getting the most Podium Places! Yes Tirol! Yes Ado Selimini… the MVP oft he Rumble 23… getting 1st in street and 2nd in bowl comp with his unique attitude of just shred everything in his way…in his special way! Congratulation Ado!

But Denmark brought the unquestionabel King oft he Bowl. With this crazy good and all day long performance Jonas Bünger aka Ginger ended up winning the Bowl competition and bringing home the biggest Rumble ceramic plate. Yeaah Ginger…you killed it!
But Japan was close…pretty close with the performance of Takeshi Kageyama. His crazy speed, full throttle attitude and a hole different level of style on a Skateboard made him the undeniable Champion of the Crowd! Thx Takeshi for showing up…what an epic style you have!

Street was hectic as usual and packed with rippers like Marco Kada, Kris Havaux, Martin Schrotter or local hero Phillip Stocker. But again… Ado was killing it with his unique bag of tricks and crazy lines all over the place and got 1.
Marco Kada and Chris Havaux came pretty close with nice runs and great single tricks and ended up 2. and 3. Due to his long injury, Rumble legend Martin Schrotter, was still in the recovery phase but said that he will come back 100% next year! We cant wait Martin!

Our Rumble special this year was the Live Performance of the DRUNK SKUNKZ, a sick Punk band from austria which played direktly at the Bowl and gave the whole session another level of energy! Skate and Destroy!

All together we are super stoked about the Rumble comeback and overwhelmed by all the good feedback we got!

Thanks to all Skateboarding & Rumble-Fans…. Thanks to all Riders… You are the reason why we are working hard for this epic day of Skateboard Celebration!
And a big Thanks to all Helpers, Sponsors, Dj´s, Musicians, all people watching, kids and families and generally all people involved in this unique Skateboarding Fest!

SEE YOU ALL NEXT YEAR AGAIN….when we shout again: LET’S GET READY TO RRRUMBLE! THANK YOU! YOU ARE THE BEST!

22. Juni 2019 / Skatepark Gmunden.
